The House of Treasures is a major exhibition celebrating the 150th anniversary of Canterbury Museum. Carefully curated from their vast historical collection, the exhibition shares an eclectic selection of 150 treasures cared for by the museum.
To support the exhibition, we created an interactive companion app designed specifically for young, curious visitors in the form of a treasure hunt. The browser based experience is launched from any mobile device. Guided by hints, eager treasure hunters can explore to discover treasures located all around the museum and using the camera feature (with a little help from machine learning), their discoveries can be collected in their personal treasure chest.
